The terms for using Synaflip.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Synaflip (“we”, “us”) for the Synaflip application on the web and Android, its API and this website. By creating an account or using Synaflip you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Synaflip.

Who can use Synaflip

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Synaflip is designed for medical students and doctors studying for their own learning.

Your account and Google sign-in

You need an account to use the app. You can sign up with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. If you sign in with Google, Google’s own terms also apply to your Google account, and we receive only the basic profile described in our privacy policy.

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person.

Your study material

You keep ownership of the notes, files and cards you add. You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display that material only to provide Synaflip to you, including sending selected pages to our AI provider when you ask for drafts. Your material is private to your account; we do not publish it.

Upload only material you have the right to use. Do not upload patient-identifiable information or content you are not allowed to copy, such as material you have no permission to share.

AI-drafted cards are not medical advice

Cards drafted by AI can be wrong or incomplete, even when they cite your source. Check every draft against the source before approving it. Synaflip is a study tool: it is not medical advice, not a clinical reference and does not guarantee exam results.

Acceptable use

When using Synaflip you must not:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including copyright;
• try to access another person’s account or data, or get around authentication, plan limits or usage quotas;
• probe, scan, overload or disrupt the service, or use automated means to access it except through the app;
• upload malware or content intended to manipulate the AI drafting;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute the service.

Plans and payments

Some features may require a paid plan. The price, billing period and taxes are shown before you pay. Web subscriptions are processed by Razorpay; Android subscriptions are purchased through Google Play and are also governed by Google Play’s terms. A plan renews automatically until you cancel it, and cancelling stops future renewals while you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the policy of the store or payment provider you paid through and applicable law.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Synaflip available and your data safe, but the service may change, be interrupted or be unavailable at times. We may add, change or remove features. You can export a backup of your library at any time.

Ending your use

You can stop using Synaflip and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires; where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, Synaflip is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of AI-drafted content. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or exam outcomes, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Synaflip after that means you accept the updated terms.
